PWD case: CBI carries out searches at Satyendar Jain’s residence

On Wednesday, The CBI carried out searches at the residence of, Satyendar Jain, the Delhi minister post registering a fresh case against him in connection with alleged violation of norms in hiring architects for the Public Works Department (PWD), officials told.

5 more locations, including residences of PWD officials and other private persons, are also being searched, as per reports.

Jain is already facing probe in a case pertaining to money laundering.

The PWD minister, in a tweet, said and confirmed that the central agency was carrying out searches at his own home.

The agency had registered a preliminary inquiry regarding hiring of the 24 architects for a creative wing of the PWD via an agency, which reportedly lacked which is amid to the experience, the officials added further.
