With ongoing incidents in the JNU Controversy, Now a BJP MLA Kailash Chaudahry from Rajasthan has been booked for allegedly calling Congres Vice-President Rahul Gandhi a ‘traitor’ over his stand on the JNU row.
A complaint was filed by Congress worker Ravi Darshan in Amethi against BJP MLA Kailash Chaudhary who is representing Baytoo constituency in Rajastahn.
Case has been lodged against the MLA and four other under Section 352 (assault or criminal force otherwise than or grave provocation), 504 (intentional insult with intent to provoke breach of peace), 506 (criminal intimidation) of IPC, SHO Amethi SK Mishra said that Chaudhary was booked under the IPC Section 120(B)) (criminal Conspiracy)
BJP MLA was reportedly alleged to make comments against Rahul Gandhi in Barmer on February 17 in Rajasthan. At Farmer’s gathering, the MLA had said: “Some people raised slogans praising Afzal Guru, about breaking India and of Pakistan Zindabad. If Rahul Gandhi, Congress’ Rajkumar’s sides with these people, it is treason. Rahul Gandhi is a traitor and such a traitor should be hanged and shot”.
When asked about the same the MLA replied: “Yes, I said it. If he goes and supports such anti-national people…he should be shot. I am a nationalist and if anyone raises a finger at Bharat Mata, I will not tolerate it,” he told.
