Admist all the lockdown phase, Redmi has decided to hike the price of soke of its model in India. This list includes of its popular models such as Redmi 8, Redmi 8A and Redmi Note 8. The prices of these phones will be hiked up by Rs 500 as said by the company. The price hike on all the three phones is similar as announced by the company.
Redmi 8, Redmi Note 8, Redmi 8A To Be Price Hiked In India
The company also made clear that whether you are buying the phone online or offline, you need to pay the hiked price through any channel.
Looking at the price hike, the cost of these phones are going to be- Redmi Note 8 will now be available at Rs 11,999 if you are buying the 4GB and 64GB variant, for the variant of 6GB and 128GB the price will be Rs 14,499. The actual prices of these variants were Rs 11,499 and Rs 13,499 respectively.
Talking about Redmi 8, which will now be available for Rs 9,499 for the 4GB and 64GB variant whereas Redmi Note 8A is now priced at Rs 7,499 for the 2GB and 32GB variant across India.
It is obvious that out of three phones, the phone which interest the buyers more is going to be Redmi Note 8. Talking about the specifications of the phone, the phone have a screen of 6.39 inch with a screen resolution of 1080×2340 pixels. The phone also have an aspect ratio of 19:5:9. The phone is boosted up with Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 processor and is available is variants such as 6GB +128GB. The Redmi Note 8 also comes with an additional feature of inbuilt Alexa.
Coming to the camera, the Redmi Note 8 comes with 4 rear cameras and one camera in the front. The phone comes with a primary 48MP sensor, the second camera has 8MP Ultra Wide lens (covers 120-degree), along with 2MP depth sensor, and also a 2MP Macro lens.
