Redmi K30 Pro 5G Zoom Edition may launch in India

Chinese smartphone manufacturer Xiaomi, has already launched Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition smartphone in global market in coming soon and now some of the leaks suggest that it might be soon coming to the Indian market as well.

However, the biggest report that grabbed our attention is that Xiaomi is reportedly planning for rebranding as well as to launch Redmi K30 Pro as POCO F2 Pro in India. Previously, it was also reported that the company was expected to be launching Redmi K30 Pro as Poco F2.

The MIUI 11 build which has been owned by Xiaomi had pointed out at this possibility. Though Poco has been declining all such claims, but we have been known earlier that Poco is certainly picking up the K30 Pro as the Poco F2 Pro for the markets globally.

On the other hand, C Manmohan, who is the General Manager of the POCO brand, had earlier stated that the POCO F2 won’t be the rebranded version of Redmi K30 Pro. But, at the present date, Google Play support page displays that the Poco F2 Pro comes with the codename that is “Imi” which is also the exact code name of none other than K30 Pro.

GizmoChina also reported that this information has suggested that “Poco F2 Pro is indeed the Redmi K30 Pro”.

Talking about this Redmi K30 Pro Zoom Edition smartphone, it comes with a 6.67-inch touchscreen display along with a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels. The phone is powered by 1.8GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and runs Android 10. It comes with a 4700mAh non-removable battery.

As far as its camera is concerned, the smartphone is going to come with a 20MP front-facing snapper, along with a quad-camera setup placed on the back that includes a 64MP primary sensor, a 13MP super wide-angle lens, as well as a 5MP telephoto lens together with a 2MP depth sensor.

As the leak is now confirming that the Zoom Edition is coming for India, therefore it is giving us a clear view of lineup of premium phones of Xiaomi for the Indian market. The Mi 10 is likely to come with the price category of Rs 50,000 or may be above than this.
