The Application Form for NTSE 2020 examination has been released on the official site for which the officials have released the official notification to notify the concerned candidates.
For many states, the registration process for NTSE 2020 has now started on the official website, the link for which is ncert.nic.in. All the candidates who are interested to appear in the examination can fill the application form offline directly after downloading it from the official website.
Other than that, candidates can also get access to their application form from the office of the Liaison Officer. Stage 1 examination is going to be held on November 2, 3, and 17, 2019, however, the Stage 2 exam is going to be held on May 10.
NTSE 2020: Eligibility criteria
In order to appear in the examination, candidates have to first clear all the eligibility criteria, otherwise, they will not be selected for giving the examination.
Eligibility criteria For school students:
The age limit for applying must be less than 18 years.
The school students, who want to apply for NTSE 2020, must be appearing for the class 10 exam from a recognized school.
Those students who have applied for class 10 through open learning can also appear for the NTSE examination.
All standards of the students from class 1 to class 10 must be cleared.
Eligibility criteria For graduation students:
The school students, who want to apply for NTSE 2020, must be appearing for the class 12 exam from a recognized school.
No age limit is defined.
The students must have cleared the Class 11 examination without any backlogs.
There should be no backlogs in class 12 examination final results which was declared by CBSE or state boards.
The students must have cleared Class 10 examinations with a minimum of 60 percent marks.
NTSE 2020 Application Form: Steps to Fill
Here are some simple steps through which candidates can fill the NTSE 2020 Application Form, these steps are as follows:
Step 1: At first, visit the official website of NTSE at ncert.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the link ‘Apply for NTSE 2020’
Step 3: Now you have to enter all the asked and required details
Step 4: Once you fill all the credentials, you will have to click on ‘submit’
Step 5: Submit the fee and the process is completed.
Application Fee:
For the registration process, candidates must pay a specific amount or application fee to complete the process. Also, candidates must take note that the application fee may apply for Stage I as per state policies while for Stage II there is no application fee. The fee also has to be paid in the offline mode only.
