Reliance Jio Monsoon Hungama Offer: Jio Phone available for Rs 501 on exchange

On Friday, the Reliance Jio launched its ‘Monsoon Hungama Offer’ under which customers can exchange their older feature phone for a new JioPhone for Rs 501. Jio also told that the Rs 501 price is also 100% refundable security deposit will be anyway refunded post 3 years.

Monsoon Hungama Offer of the Jio is all set to be available for feature phones of any brand. Note that the scheme is valid for the current generation of Reliance JioPhone, not for the JioPhone 2, which is all set to go on sale from this 15th August.

Customers can visit any Reliance Jio outlet or partner outlets in order to replace their older feature phone. Also, the offer can be availed at any retail point for old 2G/3G/4G (nonVOLTE) phones. The older feature phone for exchange should be consists of the working condition and with charger.

There should not be any damage or missing part or broken or burnt parts. You can swap the phones that were sold in the last 3.5 years (from January 1, 2015 onwards).

“JioPhone or any CDMA or operator locked devices WILL NOT be accepted for exchange. Apart from Battery & Charger, no other accessories (like headphone etc.) are required for exchange,” according to the terms and conditions.

Technical specifications of Reliance JioPhone include 2.4inch TFT screen, 1GHz dual-core processor, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB ROM. It also has a 2-megapixel rear camera and 0.3-megapixel front camera. Other important features of JioPhone is consists of the Bluetooth 4.1, microUSB, NFC, and 2,000mAh battery.
