The on-going professional wrestling event “Best in the World” was held on Friday at UMBC Event Center in Baltimore, Maryland. This event is held every year by the Ring of Honor (ROH) promotion. It’s a two night event: One, which was already concluded on June 28 and the second one which is going to be held today on June 29, Saturday at the 2300 Arena in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Rush vs Flip Gordon
Rush still remains undefeated in ROH and for the duration of the pre-show, Rush defeated Flip Gordon after executing the “Bull’s Horns” corner kick.
Recently signed with NWA, Eli Drake made his ROH debut yesterday. He announced that he is going to be Nick Aldis tag team partner, swapping the injured Colt Cabana.
The Allure (Angelina Love & Mandy Leon) vs Jenny Rose & Kelly Klein
Next, The Allure faced Jenny Rose and Kelly Klein where the Allure (Angelina Love & Mandy Leon) defeated Jenny Rose & Kelly Klein.
During the match, as the referee was distracted, Leon knocked Klein with a high heel show that further allowed Love to hit the “Botox Injection” for the win.
Kenny King vs Jay Lethal
Jay Lethal faced Kenny King in a best out of three series, where both wrestlers gave each other a great fight. At the end Kenny King hit the Lethal Injection and then the Royal Flush to beat Lethal that further leaded to Kenny King defeating Jay Lethal.
Jonathan Gresham def. Silas Young in a Pure Rules match
The fourth match in event, leads to Jonathan Gresham facing Silas Young in a Pure Rules match. Gresham distracted the referee by dragging the ring apron into the ring and then submitted Young with the Octopus hold in order to win the match.
The Briscoe Brothers (Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe) vs. Eli Drake and Nick Aldis ended in a double countout
Next, The Briscoe Brothers (Jay Briscoe and Mark Briscoe) faced Eli Drake and Nick Aldis in the event night. The match was full of twist and turns which then finally ended in a double count out., Mark after the match put Aldis through a table with the “Foggy Bow”.
Shane Taylor (c) vs Bandido
After the tag team match, Shane Taylor defended his title of ROH World Television Championship against Bandido. Taylor then performed the “Greetings from 216” in order to retain the title and defeated Bandido.
Matt Taven (c) vs Jeff Cobb
Matt Taven (c) defeated Jeff Cobb in order to retain the ROH World championship with the Climax.
Villain Enterprises (Brody King, Marty Scurll and PCO) (c) vs Lifeblood (Mark Haskins, PJ Black and Tracy Williams)
Next, the Six-man tag team match for the ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Championship was held where Villain Enterprises (Brody King, Marty Scurll and PCO) (c) defeated Lifeblood (Mark Haskins, PJ Black and Tracy Williams). The Villain Enterprises at the end attacked Lifeblood, which was ended by Gordon executing a 450° splash, turning heel in the procedure.
