Royal Enfield is going to launch “The Twin 650” in the middle of November, 2018. “The Interceptor 650” and “The Continental GT 650” were showcased last year at EIMCA (Milan Motorcycle Show) in November. After the launch in US, Royal Enfield is going to launch “The Twin 650” in India at its annual event ‘Royal Enfield Rider Mania’ in Goa.
Royal Enfield Interceptor 650, Continental GT 650 Bookings Open
Royal Enfield dealerships have started accepting bookings for the soon-to-be-launched 650 Twins for an amount of ₹ 5,000. According to dealers, the two new models – the Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and the Royal Enfield Continental GT 650 – are expected to cost around ₹ 3.5 lakh (on-road Delhi) and deliveries will begin by December 2018
Both bikes are powered by a newly developed 648cc, Air-cooled and parallel-twin engine, equipped with Fuel Injection and an oil-cooler for better performance. The weight of “The Interceptor 650” is 202 KG and of “The Continental 650” is 198 KG. The motorcycles can attain a top-speed of 160 KMPH and fuel efficiency of 25.5 KMPL.
Both motorcycles have classic design. In India, Motorcycles are expected to be launched varying in colours (black, orange, chrome, silver, black red and white) but with similar features.
The Interceptor 650 and the Continental 650 Key Specifications:
The dimensions of the Interceptor 650 are 2122*789*1165 and is 202 kg in weight whereas dimensions of the Continental 650 are 2122*744*1024 and 198kg in weight.
They both have 174mm ground clearance with fuel capacity of 12.5 litres

In US, “The Interceptor 650” has been priced from $5,799. In India its expected price is 2.70 Lakh.
In USA, they are offering three variants of the Interceptor 650 that is Chrome, Custom and Standard, whose pricings are Chrome(4.72 Lakh), Custom(4.35 Lakh), Standard(4.21 Lakh).
In US, “The Continental 650” has been priced from $5,999. So, the expected price in India will be starting from Rs.3 lakh.
