Australia Team Preview

Steven Smith led side is coming on the back of a solid performance in the Caribbean and in the last match against Ireland. The world champions will enter this match with a new opening partner of Warner and Khawaja as Aaron Finch is still in doubt due to a thumb injury.

The middle order will rely on the likes of captain Smith, Bailey, Head and Matthew Wade. Especially, Bailey and Head impressed everyone with their partnership on the tour of Carribean.

The all-rounder Mitchell Marsh is back in the side and he has a big role to play both with bat and ball. Meanwhile, this Australia team is without the services of the duo of their premier fast bowlers Starc and Hazlewood.

John Hasting will be the spreadhead for the Australian team along with Scott Boland and three uncapped fast bowlers Joe Mennie, Chris Tremain and Daniel Worrall.
