As you all may know that Sabarimala temple issue isn’t going anywhere because of the ongoing protest by Ayyappa devotees and the royal family of Pandalam against the Supreme Court verdict. As you all may know that last month Supreme Court has announced that women of all ages could enter and pray in the Sabarimala temple in Kerala which led the situation go bad.

Now the reports are coming that the Travancore Devaswom Board has decided to submit a detailed report about the events that unfolded in Pampa and Nilakkal over the last five days to the Supreme Court along with Kerala High Court. Also, the sources are indicating that the board will approach their legal counsel for preparing the report on what has been happening in the temple after it opened for devotees on 17 October.

A close source related to the board has given the information, “We have no intention to play political games with Sabarimala”. Also, the reports are coming that a Sabarimala temple would be closed on 22 October after a five-day monthly prayer during the Malayalam month of Thulam. Some sources are saying that the temple will only reopen after or on 17 November for two months. We need to see what will happen next and what the court will do about the situation.

Also, the women who are protesting have said that no women belonging to the banned age group of 10-50 will be allowed to travel further from Nilackal and offer worship at the shrine. Also, the police reports are coming and they are saying that 12 women in the 10-50 age groups have so far been prevented from entering the sanctum of the temple. Even though the Supreme Court has said that all age women can go inside the temple but the reports are coming that the ground reality is far different.
