Sahyadri College host Grand Finale of “Toycathon 2021” Date Winner Name Teams Participants And Venue

The Toycathon 2021 Grand Finale is all set to host by Sahyadri College of Engineering & Management and this college is selected by MIC/AICTE to develop the autochthonous toy industry. This event is administered by Govt. of India and in this event, there will be about 20 teams that come from distinct states of India that have verified their participation. Accentuating in Vocal for Local by PM Modi to promote the Toy Industry and for which the Ministry of Education dampen the concept of a multi-track regional inter-pastoral toycathon. The 2021 event to develop the toy industry will be organised by the Ministry of Education along with the partnership of several other ministries such as the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ministry of Women and Child Development (MWCD), Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Ministry of Textiles and Ministry of Small and Medium Enterprises.toycathon2021 hashtag on Twitter

The Secretary of the Ministry of Education named Shri Amit Khare stated that “India requires to appear as the global Toy production centre in the eternity. We require to emphasise building an ecosystem for the home Toy enterprise and the local producers, touching the untapped reserves and using the strength. Going on the idea of the Hon’ble Prime Minister and holding the enormous strength of our toy business, we can simply grow as Atmanirbhar in the toy manufacturers. This step of the government is really a big step to promote the toy industries in the Indian market.

The hackathon was originally organised in two forms such as Digital Toycathon for Digital Toys and Physical Toycathon for Physical Toys but due to the ongoing pandemic which is ruling the world, the organisers decided to postpone the Physical Toycathon for prevention to the participants from the pandemic and now, the organisers will conduct only Digital Hackathon which will be happened from 22nd June 2021 to 24th June 2021.

The Toycathon 2021 Conducted in 3 Tracks:

  • Track 1:- Junior Level Participants (Focused on Age Limit:- 0-3 years and 4-10 years)
  • Track 2:- Senior Level Participants (Focused on Age Limit:- 0-3 years and 4-10 years and 11 years and above)
  • Track 3:- Startup-Professional Level

The inter-official Toycathon concentrates on imagining distinct and innovative toys utilising confined substances that are cheap, affordable, reliable, environment-friendly, with an extraordinarily large variety for the markets of Indian and International. Now, approx 14130 teams have tendered 17770 different designs and in the digital Toycathon there will be around 1567 selected teams who will participate digitally via 85 Nodal Centres. All the innovative ideas of toys will be judged by a Jury panel of Experts and all the experts are from several premier organisations.
