The news of a collision between a Caltrain commuter train and on-track equipment in San Bruno, California has stirred the people of California. This is such shocking news that it has blown the mind of all the regular bearers of this train. It has reduced the faith of the people from this service for local people. It was around 10:40 AM when this collision occurred. All the majorly injured and critically injured victims of this mishap are in a nearby hospital as they are being cured of their injuries. The investigation to know the cause of this collision is being searched by The National Transportation Safety Board with close contact to the Caltrain officials.
Caltrain officials are assisting the National Transportation Safety Board so that they may reach know the cause of this accident as soon as possible. It is also being said that the southbound 506 struck on-track equipment, including a crane. This phenomenon resulted in a fire. According to the investigating agency in the context of this case, they are probing to know why the equipment was there at the time of the arrival of the train.
They will also investigate the reason for the miscommunication between the authorities and the driver of the concerned train at the time of this accident. This accident took place around 10:40 AM on Thursday, March 10, 2022. It is being said that the train was delayed from the original time of the arrival at the station of this train in San Bruno. Due to the replace train service a bus bridge has been closed until its repairing on Friday, 11th March 2022.
