Amrut Kumar Rath, a top-level chief working with bike major Bajaj Auto, and his better half were killed while their two young children are wounded badly after their auto hit the middle of the Pune-Mumbai turnpike at Malavli, around 60km from Pune, on Sunday evening. The family was coming back to Pune from Mumbai when the mishap happened.
The Highway Safety Patrol (HSP), Pune, and Lonavla police surged the family to Lokmanya Hospital in Nigdi, where Rath (47) and his significant other Padmaja (45) inhaled their last under therapeutic consideration at 1PM. Their little girl Adisha (18) and child Alman (10) have been admitted to the emergency unit of the healing facility.
Police investigator Shankar Awatade of the Nigdi police headquarters told TOI that Rath was the president (HR) at Bajaj Auto Limited. The family lives at Wakad. Both Adisha and Alman are examining in the city. Awatade said the family had gone to Mumbai in their BMW auto at a young hour in the morning to drop off Rath’s sister. They were coming back to Pune when Rath obviously lost control of the vehicle.
The police said that while it had rained vigorously in the range in the morning, there was just a slight shower at the season of the mischance.
Late at night, the Nigdi police sent the bodies for a posthumous to Yashwantrao Chavan Memorial Hospital. Specialists at Lokmanya Hospital said Adisha and Alman maintained joint disengagement and cracks in the mishap. “Adisha endured a hip separation and pelvic wounds.
