Sheila Dikshit Former Three-Time Delhi CM passes away at 81

The shocking news is coming out from Delhi as we get to know that the former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit passed away. Reports are saying that she was sick from a very long time and was admitted in the hospital where she took her last breath. All the political parties and big leaders are sharing the blessing and prayers on twitter about her. She was the great leader and one of the most respected leaders of Congress.

Sheila Dikshit passes away at 81

As you all might already know that Senior Congress Leader & Former Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit died on Saturday at the age of 81 years. She was three-time former chief minister of Delhi. Also, she was appointed the president of the city unit after the incumbent Ajay Maken stepped down and she had these health issues in January this year.

You all might already know that she was a great leader and was a very famous and great leader of Delhi. She has done great work in under her leadership and she got washed away when Arvind Kejriwal started his own party and took the belief of Delhi people and grabbed the CM’s chair. As you all might know that recently she contested against Delhi BJP chief Manoj Tiwari from the North East Delhi seat and she got lost by over 3.66 lakh votes.

As you all might already know that the recent Lok Sabha election wasn’t that cool for the Congress itself and they had lost all seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi. Sheila Dikshit wasn’t good since the last January and was admitted to the hospital. Dikshit’s leadership the party managed to push Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidates to the third place in five of the seven seats. Still, after losing the seat she offered her resignation to the party president but it was not accepted.

So far the reports are coming that the former Prime minister Narendra Modi has also shared the deeply saddened words on this news, he wrote, “Blessed with a warm and affable personality, she made a noteworthy contribution to Delhi’s development. Condolences to her family and supporters” on twitter.
