When Panama Papers controversy caught fire, IT department is checking the investments made by the Bollywood celebrities in foreign. According to sources of ET, IT department has asked the actor Shah Rukh khan to reveal his investments in Bermuda, British Virgin Islands and Dubai.
The Government of India is seeking disclosure of overseas assets and bank accounts of wealthy Indians in order to flush out black money. Sending a notice to Shah Rukh, shows that it is also a reminder to the rich to come clean and reveal their foreign assets.
