A massive fire incident took place at Amrabad Reserved Forest, Domalapenta of Nagar Kurnool District. According to the reports, the broken out the fire can be seen from the Octopus viewpoint which is around 7 KM away from the Domalapenta and spread to the nearest Neelaram rock. The fire incident reported in the Nallamala forest which is situated on Srisailam-Hyderabad Highway.
Massive fire Breaks out in Amrabad Forest
When the information of the fire received, the forest fighter and fire extinguisher reached the spot and started the operation to douse the spreading fire. The reason behind the incident is not cleared yet but the investigator is finding the clear reason behind this incident.
The villagers got worried after a fire accident in Nallamala which have a habitancy of different type of flora and fauna species. Amrabad FRO, Jakkula Prabhakar told that the fire took place around 6 PM on Monday and they received the alert after five hours around 11 PM.
During the summer, it a common in the Nallamala Forest come an occurrence of fire, in which hundreds of acres of the forest change into ashes every year. Now, the reason behind this incident is not found yet but the firefighters and investigator will find the reason.
The fire-fighter, ambulance, and police reached the spot to douse the fire. After a lot of effort, the fire was brought under control. In 2020, a major incident of fire reported for the second time in a four day from the Nagarkurnool district. At that time, around 20 acres of land were burnt in the fire. It was just a ground fire and destroy only dry leaves and grass. Many incidents have been noticed this year. We faced a huge loss of forest last year also. Maybe, we should not be care less about this situation and should save our forest along with flora and fauna.
