Sidhu Quit! RS Rajya Sabha Because I Was Told To Stay Away From Punjab

On Monday, Navjot Singh Sidhu, Former BJP Member of Parliament clarified that why he quit the Rajya Sabha because the BJP party asked him to stay from my state.

Navjot Singh Sidhu was elected to the Upper House in the month of April. He quit his membership last week. The cricketer-turned-politician Sidhu made clear his displeasure with BJP.

Today in a media meet, Sidhu said that I was asked to stay away from Punjab so I quit the Rajya Sabha.

He said that I will go wherever I am allowed to serve Punjab, in a possible reference to joining the Aam Aadmi Party(AAP).

He said that nothing is more important for me than Punjab. Even a bird come back to its nest, then how can Sidhu leave the people of Punjab and Punjab.

Sidhu targets the BJP and said that he drowned in the Modi wave in 2014 Lok Sabha Polls, when he was asked to shift from the Amritsar constituency.

Sidhu said in dramatic style that Duniya ki koi party Punjab se oopar nahi, koi party Punjab se badi nahi.

Sidhu clearly agitated that I will choose Punjab 100 times if given a choice between my family, my party and Punjab.

The cricketer-turned politician Navjot Singh Sidhu refused to join Aam Aadmi Party. Navjot Singh Sidhu also did not clarify whether he had already quit the BJP or was still a member of the ruling party.
