Finnish Premier League T20 has just made its entry with its opening match on June 1, 2020 which was postponed due to the lockdown period because of coronavirus pandemic. Eight teams are participating in the tournament to win the title such as GYM Helsinki Gymkhana, Greater Helsinki Cricket Club (Greater Helsinki Markhors), Helsinki Cricket Club, Empire Cricket Club (Empire Lions), Bengal Tigers Cricket Club (BTCC Thundercats),SKK Stadin ja Keravan Kriketti (SKK Rapids), FPC Finnish Pakistani Club and Vantaa Cricket Club.
The tournament will start with T20 format, T10 and One-Day cricket is then also going to be followed up in the approaching days. The tournament will also carry on till 30th of August 2020. The second match of the series is now going to be played between SKK Stadin ja Keravan Kriketti and GYM Helsinki Gymkhana.
