The most popular and advanced technological car manufacturing company Skoda is ready to launch its brand new car with the name of Skoda Kushaq which made its debut on 18th March 2021. There are four brand new Skoda and new Volkswagen models that is all set to launch in the market of India and these cars are part of India’s Volkswagen Group 2.0 project and these cars are holding managed by Skoda Auto and the first car of the series are newly launched Skoda Kushaq. The recently launched car is inspired by the India-specific MQB-A0-IN modification which is part of Volkswagen Group’s generally utilised MQB (modular transverse Toolkit) program.
Skoda Kushaq Launch Date:
The Skoda Auto company has stated that the Skoda Kushaq is all set to launch in the Indian market in the month of June this year and along with this, the company still not revealed the price of the cars but they hinted that the company started accepting the orders from the month of June 2021 and the delivery of the car will be started in the month of July 2021.
Skoda Kushaq Price:
The biggest rivals and biggest competitor of this car are Hyundai Creta and Kia Seltos where the Hyundai Creta carries the price tag of Rs 10 lakh and Rs 17.54 lakh which is for the ex-showroom in Delhi and on the other hand, the Kia Seltos supports the price range of Rs 9.89 lakh to Rs 17.65 lakh which is also for the ex-showroom in Delhi. After seeing the prices of these cars, it is expected that the Skoda Kushaq will come with the price of Rs 10 lakh to Rs 18 lakh for the ex-showroom and it will come with three options such as Active, Ambition and Style.
Skoda Kushaq Specifications and Features:
The car comes with the design of a signature Skoda grille with the support of gloss black vertical slats carrying the chrome surround with the LED headlights along with the support of LED DRLs. The front side of the car carries sharp creases which makes the car looks prettier and majestic with the fog lights while on the rear side the users will get LED taillights and the back gate of the car supports all berets. The upper side of the car with roof rails and spoiler gives the car a sporty look and the alloy of the wheels carries a 17-inch Atlas dual-tone. The car comes with five colour variants include Carbon Steel, Reflex Silver, Candy White and India-introductory Tornado Red and Honey Orange.
Under the hood, the car comes with splendid features such as vented leather front seats along with a touchscreen information and entertainment system of 10-inch which supports the operating system of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto with other features such as a wireless charger for charging the device with the two-spoke multifunction steering wheel and an auto-dimming IRVM with an ambient light along with touchscreen Climatronic automatic climate control and it also supports the front and rear LED reading lights with 6.1-litre cooled glove box and an electric sunroof.
The car carries the tank storage of 26.2 litres where the rider can easily fill the tank up to 28 litres and the information and entertainment system comes with the support of connecting a smartphone through the technology of SmartLink. The riders will occupy the Ambition and Style trims where they can easily connect to any Skoda mobile online services. Skoda Kushaq Safety
If we check the safety of the car then the car comes with several safety features which is that it comes with six airbags along with the support of a multi-collision brake with a hill-hold control along with the tyre pressure monitoring system and also for seeing all the sides of the car there are cameras on the front and rear side. Along with this, there are distinct safety features which are that electronic stability control with rear parking sensors along with Isofix and top rope belay points.
Skoda Kushaq Engine Performance
The company fixed two engines in the car where the car carries a 3-cylinder with the capacity of a 1.0-litre TSI petrol motor which gives the rider a maximum power of 115PS with the peak torque of 175Nm and the car supports a 6-speed Manual Transmission and also, 6-speed Automatic Transmission torque converter variants.
The other or second engine of the car supports a 4-cylinder 1.5-litre with a TSI petrol mill delivering the maximum power of 150PS with peak torque of 250Nm and it also supports 6-speed Manual Transmission but there are changes in 7-speed DSG variants and in both engines, the power of the engine is delivering to only front wheels. The car comes with dimensions of 4,225mm long with 1,760mm wide and supports 1,612mm tall with the wheelbase dimensions of 2,651mm and the ground clearance of the car is 188mm with the 385-litre boot.
