The Men in gold has dominated the shorter version of Cricket after their disappointing performance in Test series. Dravid Warner has led this team brilliantly and even in first t20 match he smashed quickfire 22 runs to give a platform to Maxwell to play freely.
The first t20 was just the show of Maxwell where he became the third Australian to score a century in t20 international cricket. Maxwell would look to repeat his inning by smashing the Sri Lankan bowlers all corners of the park.
The Australia middle order has the mix of firepower and settled player in form of Khawaja, Bailey and Head. The 22-year-old Travis Head has impressed everyone with his performance both in ODI series and t20 series.
MEnahwile, Mitchell Starc will be the spreadhead for Australia alongside, Scott Boland and James Faulker. Adam Zampa will play as the lone spinner in the team and even Maxwell will spin his wrist for the couple of overs.
