Snapchat plans to launch Android Smartphone with new camera features

Snapchat – the popular photo-sharing mobile service, is going to launch its own Android smartphone soon. It is going to launch an android handset with its brand name that gives its users complete control over its camera features.

According to the report of Daily Mail that Snapchat – a California-based marketing firm, has unveiled a concept smartphone equipped with a 360-degree camera, a one-touch capture function for easy sharing and buttons that let users scroll through filters.

This device also supports a lock screen that allows users to swipe easily for Snapchat updates and notifications, syncing with spectacles and messaging. Snapchat which is popular image messaging and multimedia mobile app has earlier this year has introduced much-anticipated initial public offering (IPO) filing public, seeking to raise up to $3 billion.

The popular messaging app – Snapchat is planning to acquire most of its revenue from advertising where it will compete against the world tech giants – Google, Facebook, and Twitter.
‘Our Story’ feature is also introduced by Snapchat. Our Story feature is a new global live story that any user can contribute to at any time. In the last year 2016, Snapchat has introduced video-capture sunglasses. The spectacles will be used as a camera that users wear to capture the moments of life.

The Snapchat’s sunglasses features a camera with an 115-degree lens.  After the grand launch of spectacles, Snapchat is now all set to make a launch of its own android smartphone this year soon.
