The Australian are now on the verge of losing their No 1 Test ranking if will lose this match. Meanwhile, Steven Smith led side has performed to failed with the bat as the batsman of this team never looked comfortable against the Rangana Herath.
Their condition is that much poor of Australian batsman that neither of them has managed to score a fifty in this series. The biggest disappointment for this team is the failure of David Warner, Steven Smith and Adam Voges.
