Shift-I paper of the SSC grade C and D 2019 examinations has been canceled by the Staff Selection Commission. The examination was previously notified to be held on 5 February 2019 but now the commission has postponed the exam schedule and now it will held on 8 February 2019.
As per the previously SSC exam schedule the exam was going to held in one shift, the morning shift and it was about to held in the middle of 10 am and 12 pm on 5 February 2019. With the postponed of exam date the exam shift is also changed and now the shift will be afternoon shift which will held in the middle of 3 pm and 5pm on 8 February 2019.
The official notice by SSC reads, “The Examination of this Shift has been cancelled because of the inadvertent enabling of E-Calculator on candidate’s console”.
The SSC official notice further added, “It may be noted that re-examination of this Shift, on 08/02/2019, will only be conducted for the candidates who had appeared in Shift I on 05/02/2019.”
The examination of this Shift has been cancelled for the reason that of the unintentional permitting of E-Calculator on aspirant’s comfort.
SSC Stenographer 2019 exam: Exam pattern
According to the exam pattern, the exam comprises of three sections from the various subjects such as General Intelligence, General Awareness, English Language and Comprehension.
Candidates are going to be provided 2 hours to complete their examination and the total marks assigned for the test is 200 marks. There will be 200 questions which will be asked in the question paper.
The total number of 200 marks are divided amongst different subjects such as 50 questions will be of General Intelligence and Reasoning and it will carry 50 marks, 50 questions will be of General Awareness and it will carry 50 marks as well as 100 questions on English Language and Comprehension which will carry 100 marks.
For each correct answer there will be one mark allotted and there will be negative marking of 0.25 marks for every single wrong answer or incorrect response.

SSC Stenographer 2019 exam: Important instructions
It is compulsory for every candidate to carry a valid copy of their hall ticket. Along with their admit card they should also carry any one of their photo identity proof such as Aadhaar card, PAN card, driving license, voter card, ID issued by college/university/Government as well as their passport size photos on their examination center.
The passport size photographs which the candidates will carry on examination day must be identical to that provided for the period of registration.
The candidates who will not reach to the examination hall on time as well as failing to bring above-mentioned documents will not be allowed to perform for the test.
