After being listed on the Suzuki’s official website and creating a lot of buzz afterward, the Suzuki Hayabusa is all set to step in Indian markets for a grand launch. The ones who were eagerly waiting for this new-generation superbike can now hold their excitement as the Japanese two-wheeler manufacturer has finally revealed its official launch date. Earlier this year, the 2021 Hayabusa was revealed globally on 5 February.
Now the wait is finally over as 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa is going to get a launch four days later on April 26, Monday in India. The official announcement for the same was revealed on company’s social media handles which was very quick since Suzuki made their initial announcement to bring the bike in Indian market.
There’s been a huge fan base for this this new-generation bike across the globe and so as in India. Therefore, when Suzuki announced to launch the bike in India, there was huge excitement among the hardcore bikers and motorcycle enthusiasts in the country.
The new Suzuki Hayabusa comes with a new LED headlamp, TFT display, restyled air vents, and also boomerang-shaped LED DRLs, latest air diffusers, along with a new body graphics. The company claims that their new Suzuki bike is more aerodynamic than it was ever before. It features a 1, 340 cc, liquid-cooled in-line four-cylinder engine that gives an amazing power to the new Hayabusa and the engine produces out 187 bhp and 150 Nm of maximum torque at 9,700 rpm and 7,000 rpm respectively. The superbike features six-speed gearbox along with a slip-assist clutch that helps in delivering power to the rear wheel of the bike.
The new-generation motorcycle has dropped 2 kg from its earlier model an now it weighs 262 kg which improved its top speed to more at 299 kmph. The Hayabusa last generation was sold at the price tag of ₹ 13.7 lakh in India, so this time the new generation may be priced a little more. As of now, the price of 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa is not revealed yet but it is expected to be announced soon. However, some report suggests that this new model superbike may possibly be priced around Rs 17 lakh to 20 lakh (ex-showroom).
In addition to that, the unofficial bookings of 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa had already been started a while back, as per to a report. Also, there is no direct competitor or rival of 2021 Suzuki Hayabusa in India, so this new generation superbike is likely to make an instant hit in Indian market.
