The 2018 Tribeca Film Festival Dates, Announces and Details

You all should know that 17th year’s Tribeca Film Festival will take place which is presented by AT&T. You all should know that creator, diverse audiences, and other talented people from the audience will be together in New York. They all are together for the annual storytelling festival running April 18th to the 29th in 2018. Everyone from the industry is going to be together and that’s great.

Also, a new multi-year collaboration, creators will be able to submit their feature and short films to the 2018 festival through Withoutabox. The online process is the beauty of the festival and you all are going to love it. This new relationship with Withoutabox continues Tribeca’s ongoing mission to empower storytellers and you all should know that the opportunities and tools to bring their stories to life.

However, you all may know that 2018 festival is set to build on the momentum from last year’s edition. In the previous year’s festival, we have seen that The Godfather and Reservoir Dogs were on the reunion and that’s great. The Tribeca X Award celebrated the best in branded storytelling from artist-brand collaborations. Overall, it is huge news and everybody will be going to be excited about this season.

DATES & FEES

  • Mid-March, 2018 – submitters notified of their status
  • September 5, 2017 (10am ET) – Submissions open
  • December 13, 2017 (6pm ET) – Early Deadline ($300 per project)
  • January 12, 2018 (6pm ET) – Official Deadline ($400 per project)
  • February 14, 2018 (6pm ET) – Late Deadline. ($500 per project) All submissions must be received.
  • April 18 – 29, 2018 – 17th Annual Tribeca Film Festival in NYC (the “TFF18”)

Also, the Tribeca’s Director of Programming, Cara Cusumano said, “Following a banner year that saw record high submissions across all of our festival programs, it’s clear there is more exciting work being created in more different ways and on more different platforms than ever before.” Also, he added that “Withoutabox is the perfect partner to help further our film submissions and we eagerly look forward to seeing what our endlessly surprising creators bring us in 2018.”
