The Great Khali is going to join WWE Hall of Fame: There’s good news for the WWE fans from India as a new member is all set to join the WWE Hall of Fame. This new member is none other than “The Great Khali” and he will be the latest WWE wrestler to join the Class of 2021. He initially made his professional wrestling first appearance in the year 2000.
The Great Khali gave this big surprise to his fans recently when he revealed that he is going to be the latest inductee in the Class of 2021. He himself was surprised when he received this great news through his brother and Ranjin Singh, who is his former manager, according to the recent report of WWE Now India.
The Great Khali whose real name is Dalip Singh Rana is going to take his spot in the sports-entertainment history in the course of the WWE Hall of Fame 2021 Induction Ceremony, which is all set to stream next month on April 6 (Tuesday). This most awaited event is going to be streamed exclusively on Peacock in the USA as well as on the WWE Network to another place.
This 7 ft 1 in wrestler initially became a professional wrestler under the ring name Giant Singh for the All-Pro Wrestling from 2000-2001. His first performance as a wrestler in October 2000 where he teamed with Tony Jones and fights against the West Side Playaz.
In the meantime, he made a great impact in the year 2006 when he won against the very popular and legendary WWE wrestler ‘Undertaker’ over The Deadman and from then his popularity started beginning.
This 48-year wrestler’s real name is Dalip Singh Rana and he is popularly known due to professional wrestling. He got the chance to appear in very popular WWE events and there he got his ring name “The Great Khali”. Throughout his time in WWE, he successfully managed to win World Heavyweight Championship and became the first Indian ever in the promotion’s history to hold a championship.
Talking about his achievements throughout his career in World Wrestling Entertainment, he is one time World Heavyweight Champion and he has won the WWE Hall of Fame (2021). In addition to that, he also won 7-man Royal Rumble in the year 2007. He also once won a Slammy Award as well during this period. Now his addition in the Hall of Fame is one of his biggest achievements throughout his wrestling career and he is very thrilled and excited for the same.
