On 30th January 2021, a popular streamer of Twitch made a clip and was seen kissing the picture of Canadian YouTuber, Pokimane. Travis aka Empirrre is a streamer on the Twitch platform and is also a huge fan of Pokimane. However, a short clip of him kissing the photo of Pokimane got him banned and also made the fan of Pokimane extremely angry. After the whole incident happened, the fan of the Canadian YouTuber, took over their social media account and started commenting on Travis Clip, however, it was deleted from the internet. Many of you might be thinking, as to how could kissing someone’s photo could be so offensive.
Then for that, we have to deep drive into the clip in a little detail. In the clip, he was seen kissing the photo of the YouTuber in an inappropriate manner and to say it more precisely, he kissed her butt. However, the netizen and especially the fans of the YouTuber, founded it extremely offensive and they could help but lash out their anger at him. This act of “Empirrre” was taken seriously and alter he was banned from Twitch for a day, however, that ban was not taken back and he is still banned from the streaming platform.
Later, he posted a short clip of seven-minute, in which he was seen explaining his point on the whole act and also apologized for the same. He was seen saying that it all started when he made that video. He said that all though, what he did in the clip was nothing but a joke however, he did not know that it would cause such a fuss on social media. I
n the offensive clip, Empirre was seen referring to Pokimane his queen to which he said, as a gamer and streamer on Twitch it is part of their culture. He further said that he is deeply sorry if he offended anyone in any way. He is genuinely extremely sorry from the bottom of his heart and also said that he just wanted to make people laugh and that’s it and he did not have any other ulterior motive behind this.
Now he is banned and he seriously does not know what to do. However, Pokimane herself watched the same video, that banned Empirre and in fact, she was seen laughing while watching the video and also made a hilarious reaction in the video. Currently, Empirre has been banned from Twitch and at present, he is streaming on other platforms including, Minecraft, Overwatch and Valorant on regular basis.
