Twitter launched QR Scan code alike of Snapchat

Social networking site – Twitter introduced a new feature to its application. Twitter has also added features alike of Snapchat to its platform. Now, it has again come with the Snapchat QR Scan Codes support feature which is only available for a limited set of users yet.

The Twitter application has made the Scan codes inspired from its rival Snapchat in the media sharing platform. In order to provide an easier way to follow someone else’s account, Twitter has introduced the support for QR codes in the app.Users can use this latest application of Twitter. QR Scan codes has been added by the Twitter application to both Android and iOS users. Android users can access the the latest option to search for somebody else’s account from the slide-out menu from the left side of the app.

On the Android devices: QR Scan Codes can be accessed by clicking on the code option where the user will get an option to scan the given code right away using the camera of the Phone. You can also choose to see your own QR code by clicking on My QR code option and then share it using the option on top-right of the screen.

On the iOS devices: QR Scan Codes can be accessed through the profile of  the user and clicking on the settings icon. Then the user can click on the QR code option from the shown menu. Unlike Android, on iOS, users are first treated with their own QR code, which they can share from the top-right option on the screen.

The Twitter company claims that users of Android or iOS platforms can scan the QR Scan Codes from their camera roll pictures as well.  Users can click on the required codes to scan on other people’s account to follow them. Apart from this, Twitter already provides a search tool that seems to work really well.
