UAE seized the assets worth Rs. 15000 Crore of Mumbai blasts mastermind Dawood Ibrahim

On Tuesday, a report claimed that the government of UAE has seized the fugitive underworld don’s assets worth Rs. 15,000 crore. It is believed to be the biggest ever crackdown on Mumbai serial blasts mastermind Dawood Ibrahim.

As per the report that Underworld don Dawood has properties including hotels and shares in top rung companies in UAE.

The various authorities of the UAE have also sealed several properties  Dawood in Dubai. Recently, the government of UAE had begun inquiry into properties of wanted criminal Dawood Ibrahim in Dubai.

When PM Modi accompanied by National Security Advisor Ajit Doval visited UAE last year and provided the list to the government of UAE.

The Government of India had then requested the UAE government to seize the properties belonging to Dawood and his crime syndicate.

India provided the dossier to UAE listed several properties and also made a mention about a company known as Golden Box being run in Dubai by the henchmen of Dawood.

The provided dossier stated that the company is being run by Anis Ibrahim who is the brother of Dawood. The list of properties also includes hotels.

Dawood has investments in Spain, UAE, Singapore, Thailand, Cyprus, Turkey, India, Pakistan, the UK and Morocco.
