After huge anticipation, Ultraviolette Automotive has finally unveiled its first product, the F77. This model has been launched with its total of three variants and those are the F77 Lightning, F77 Shadow and F77 Laser with the prices starting from Rs 3 lakh and carrying on to Rs 3.25 lakh (on-road).

On the other hand, the F77 is first performance-oriented electric motorcycle in India as well as the specifications on offer are quite very much impressive. But at the same time its technical details are still not revealed until today.
Talking about its specifications, the F77 is powered by an air-cooled motor that the company also claims that produces a maximum power output of 25kW (33.5hp) at 2,250rpm as well as an impressive peak torque of 90Nm.
The company on the other hand states that this enables the F77 to attain a 0-60kph time of 2.9sec, a 0-100kph time of 7.5sec, and that the bike is going to be capable of a top speed of 147kph – some very excellent figures. It is also going to come with three power modes and those are Eco, Sport and Insane.

It also uses three slim lithium-ion battery packs as well as the entire unit takes 5 hours to charge fully through the standard charger, while the fast charger is going to do it in 1.5 hours.
On the other hand, Ultraviolette has revealed that the F77 doesn’t need all of the three battery packs in order to run, but at the same time it also performs optimally with all of them in use. While on a full charge, the F77 has a claimed range of 130-150km. At the same time, the battery system also includes a comprehensive list of safety, thermal and battery management features, a few of them are also patented technologies.
Well, the F77 mainly uses a steel trellis frame along with an aluminium head suspended on a USD fork and pre-load adjustable monoshock. On the other hand it also features a 320mm front disc as well as a 230mm rear disc with dual-channel ABS.

Taking performance-oriented intentions into consideration, it gets steel-braided brake lines as well as 110/70 R17 (front) and 150/60 R17(rear) tyres, which is a configuration that’s also seen on some other sporty ICE bikes in the segment.
In the meantime, the company has also revealed that the F77 is going to come with several accessories such as a portable fast charger, crash guards, panniers, and a different visor. Coming to its weight, the bike is also quite light, with a kerb weight of 158kg, and has an manageable seat height of 800mm.
In addition to that, the registration process for the F77 have already started from today onwards and the deliveries are set to start in the third quarter of the year 2020, with first sales planned exclusively for Bengaluru.
