The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) has declared and announced its notification to inviting qualified candidates to fill about 41,500 constable posts.

UP police vacancy 2018: Eligibility
Age: The age of the male candidate should be 18 to 22 years as on July 1, 2018. For females, there is a three years age relaxation (18-25 years).
Education qualification: The candidates should have pass class 12 examination from a recognized board or an equivalent exam.
For police job, the physical standards are important. Here is the eligibility for men and women:
- Male candidates should be able to run for a distance of 4.8 KM in 27 (Twenty Seven) minutes in one chance.
- Female candidates should be able to run for a distance of 2.4 KM in 16 (Sixteen) minutes in one chance
UPPBPB will conduct an objective type written examination also consists of 300 marks. The exam dates and other details will be declared very soon.
Selection process – The aspirants will be shortlisted on the basis of written test, physical test, and document verification.

UP Police Constable Recruitment 2018 – Vacancy Details
There are total 41520 vacancies in UP Police for the post of Constables (Constable Civil & Constable RAC). For Constable Civil, both Male and Female aspirants can apply and for Constable RAC only male candidates can also apply.
For Constable Civil, there are total 23250 vacancies and these vacancies are divided category wise. For General Category candidates there are 11761 posts, For OBC Category candidates there are 6350 posts, For SC category there are 4939 vacancies and for ST category candidates there are 470 posts.
