UPSC Civil Services Main 2019 Exam Timetable, Exam Dates Schedule Download at upsc.gov.in

UPSC Civil Services Main Exam 2019 timetable has been released by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on its official website i.e. upsc.gov.in. Candidates who qualify the UPSC Civil Services (Prelims) 2019 Exam can check the complete timetable for the UPSC Main Exam 2019 at the official website and can accordingly begin with their preparations.

UPSC Exam Time Table 2019

Candidates who are appearing for the UPSC Main Exam 2019 need to fill in the Detailed Application Form (DAF), which will be activated on 1 August 2019 and will be live till 16 August 2019. The candidates can submit the form till August 16, 2019, through the official website upsconline.nic.in.

Further according to the timetable released by UPSC, the Civil Services (Main) Exam 2019 will be held from September 20 to September 29, 2019. The UPSC Main 2019 examination is conducted in Pen and Paper mode (Written format).

UPSC Time Table 2019

The UPSC Civil Services Prelims 2019 exam was conducted on 2 June 2019, the result of which has already been declared by the UPSC on July 12. The UPSC has also released the names of the qualified candidates @upsc.gov.in. Nearly 8 lakh candidates appeared for the UPSC Civil Services preliminary examination at various test centers across the country.

UPSC Civil Services Main exam 2019: Timetable

Paper I: (Essay) will be held on September 20. (9 am – 12 pm)
Paper II: General Studies-I will be conducted on September 21 (9 am – 12 pm)
Paper III: General Studies-II will be conducted on September 21 (2pm – 5 pm)

Paper IV: General Studies-III will be conducted on September 22 (9 am – 12 pm)
Paper V: General Studies-IV will be conducted on September 22 (2pm – 5 pm)

Paper-A: Indian Language will be held from 9 am to 12 pm on September 28.

The Union Public Service Commission conducts the UPSC Civil Services IAS Exam every year to recruit the candidates for various services such as – Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Revenue Service (IRS) and others. The exam is conducted in three phases – UPSC Prelims; UPSC Main and Interview. Candidates need to clear all the round to be recruited as IAS, IPS, IFS or IRS.

The UPSC Civil Services IAS Mains exam tests the candidates on their academic talent, knowledge, their perception about the happenings at the national and international level and their ability to present their opinion in an answer sheet clearly. In short, the Main Examination assesses the candidates’ overall understanding of the concepts.
