US: 24 Year Old Students Dies After Drowning in Harvey Floods

Well, In Us 24-year-old Students dies after getting drown in Harvey Floods and sources are saying that she died at the moment. Well, reports are coming out that in Houston US state of Texas 24-year-old Indian student has died after he nearly drowned in a swollen lake. Also, the sources are saying that the name of the student is Nikhil Bhatia who is pursuing his studies from A&M University. Also, the other victim was rescued from the Lake Bryan her name is Shalini Singh had gone swimming, on Saturday.

As per the reports, Bhatia succumbed to his injuries today while Singh continues to be in a critical condition. Also, the sources are saying that family is in regular touch with Consulate. Also, the sources are saying that Bhatia was originally from Jaipur, along with his friend Singh, 25, from New Delhi, was pursuing Master in Public health were both brought to the local hospital in a critical condition where they died.

Also, their few friends and some other witnesses are saying that they two were swimming in the lake Also, all of sudden a current of water pushed them deeper and the students noticed that they were in distress and flagged down nearby police officers. Also, the police reports are saying that they rescued them as fast as they can but they didn’t save them. Also, they provide CPR to the victims until medics arrived. Also, the main point of the talk is that why they were swimming during severe weather.

Consul General of India in Houston has been monitoring their medical needs and situation closely.  Also, Bhatia’s mother Dr. Suman Bhatia has already arrived and was assisted by consulate office amidst devastating flood situations here after receiving her at Dalal’s airport. Sources are saying that this hurricane can effect more lives in upcoming days.
