USA Today Wrapped its Newspaper With a Fake Cover About ‘Hybrid Babies’ On Netflix Show Name

Recently, the front cover of USA Today piqued the curiosity of the reader and raised several questions on the same. The said newspaper published a cover on 4th June 2021 that was about “hybrid babies” and the newspaper was trying to caution the public to beware of these new generation half-animal and half-human children. However, later it was discovered that it was a fake cover and was in fact an advertisement, the purpose of which was to promote the new Tv series of Netflix, “Sweet Tooth”.

Well, one has to say it was a smart trick that was used by the creators of the series, as it definitely attracted the attention of the readers, however, the makers most have given a hefty sum of money for this. The cover was in fact extremely real and quite fascinating and as a matter of fact, it was really hard to classify for the readers whether it was a fake cover or a real one.

There were two articles on the fake cover. The first article informed the reader about the hybrid creatures and also expressed that how these creatures are still a mystery for everyone. Later in the second article, it was stated that these hybrid creatures are found in American and how they can be a threat to the whole nation. However, if one will look at the cover closely, one can easily classify the cover as a fake cover.

The word, “ADVERTISEMENT” was written in the capital letter just above the main headline. However, the word written was extremely tiny in size and therefore, at first glance, it was really hard to know that it was a fake cover for many of the readers. Well, talking about the new Tv Seris, “Sweet Tooth”, then it is fantasy drama series which is initially based on a comic book with the same name written by Jeff Lemire.

The series has already aired on 4th June 2021, that is, on Friday, on the original network of Netflix. Thus, the makers purposely chose the day of its release for pulling out this publicity stunt and collaborated with one of the prominent newspaper of America. Moreover, in fact, the storyline of “Sweet Tooth” revolves around the life of a deer-human hybrid Child, named, ‘Gus’. He and others children of his age are born half-animal and half-human in the US.
