The accident has happened near a popular ski resort near the Mineral Basin area of Snowbird, about 150 yards off of Snowbird proper on the early morning of Tuesday and the information about the accident and collision is stated by the Utah National Guard who stated the news about the crash through the official Twitter handle of this where they stated about the whole accident happened on the spot involving two Utah National Guard UH-60 Black Hawk helicopters.
According to the statement of the Utah National Guard, they stated that no crew members or skiers at the Snowbird ski resort were injured along with the statement of Jared Jones, chief warrant officer 5. In an official statement, they stated that “Everyone is safe,” Jones said. “It was a blessing that everyone was OK.” In addition to this, they stated that the resort is about 30 miles from Salt Lake City, has the capacity to carry more than 17,000 skiers and snowboarders uphill per hour on its many lifts.
