The recruiting board of UP Police, UPPRPB (Uttar Pradesh Recruitment and Promotion Board) has released 1,329 vacancies for several posts including Sub-Inspector (confidential-vigilance), Sub-Inspector (confidential), ASIM vigilance, Assistant SI ministerial and Assistant SI accounts. The registration for the same started on 1st May 2021 and the last date of filing the application form is 15th July 2021. UPPRPB Recruitment 2021: Eligibility Criteria 

The minimum age limit for the candidates who are applying for the Sub Inspector 2021 is 21 years, while the maximum age limit of the candidates should not be more than 28 years as of 1st July 2021. On the other hand, for the post of constable, the age of the male candidates should not be less than 18 years while the maximum age should not be more than 22 years as of 1st July 2021.

While in the case of female candidates, the minimum age limit is 18 years while the maximum age limit is 25 years. The essential educational qualification for the post of SI, PAC and Platoon Commander is a Graduate degree in any discipline, while for the post of Fire Officer post, the candidates must possess a Postgraduate degree in science discipline only. Also, age relaxation shall be provided to SC/ST and OBC categories.

UPPRPB Recruitment 2021: Selection Process

The selection of the candidates for these post will be done in three stages. The first stage is the online objective written examination, while the second stage is the skill test. The third stage is the physical standard test followed by document verification.

  • Stage 1: Objective Online Written Exam
  • Stage 2: Skill Test/ Document Verification
  • Stage 3: Physical Test

The candidates who will qualify all these stages will be selected for the various post in the UP Police department.

UPPRPB Recruitment 2021: How to Apply?

Candidates are required to follow the following procedure in order to apply for various post in the UP Police department.

  • Firstly, go to the official website of the board.
  • Fill up the application form and submit the same.
  • Candidates are also required to attach the necessary document along with a recent passport size photograph and a scanned picture of the signature along with the application form.
  • Candidates are required to pay the prescribed fees using a Debit card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking and other online payment methods.
  • Take a printout of your application for future references.
