The epic scene that we talked about earlier in Varun Dhawan starrer Dishoom gained so much appreciation. While a promotional event for the film, Varun was questioned about the scene, he stated, “It was scary. It was absurd; I’ve never had such confidence in my life. I was swinging on to the chopper and all I had was John (Abraham), who was on my left and I kept glancing at John like that.”

The sequence showcase Varun and John wrapped up in jumpsuits, swinging from a chopper and tracking a car. The chopper flew at a speed of 180 kilometers per hour and moved just about right feet above the ground.

John said, “I had to make assured that we’ve tied him well, so he doesn’t get injured during the shot. And after he was banded in, I used to keep an eye on everything.” John would also continue reviewing Varun if he was okay by indicating with a thumbs up sign.

But Varun said, “I don’t know how to respond, how do you respond when you’re in the mid of sky and ground and you’re just swinging off the chopper and someone is asking if I am ok? Genuinely, I pretended the whole thing throughout the scene, as this is a two-star film. I’m an actor, after all, so some courage is needed that I have to show.

So when the other star is acting like all is excellent, everything is accurate, I would just utter that (actually bothered) yes, I am ok, man.”

Another sequence from the movie was also tough for Varun, the sequence in which he has to kiss Jacqueline but being upside down in the air, like a view in the flick “Spiderman”.

About the sequence, Varun said, “I, in fact, had a lot of blood hastening to my head through that moment, I understood that it was seemingly not easy for Tobey Maguire or Andrew Garfield to perform as Spiderman. It’s challenging to swing upside down.”

“Dishoom”, has been directed by Rohit Dhawan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala.
