Violence breaks Bengaluru following the refusal of SC to suspends its order

Bengaluru: On Monday, the dispute of Cauvery river water sparked off sporadic incidents of violence in Karnataka state. KKannadaactivists blocked roads in several places in Bengaluru raising the slogan against Tamil Nadu state following the refusal of Supreme Court to suspend its earlier order on sharing water of Cauvery river on Monday

Due to the violence in the city, Bengaluru Metro services have been suspended.

Miscreants are attacking shops and vehicles in different parts of the state. As per the reports that a dozens of vehicles with Tamil Nadu registration number have been set on fire at Nayandahalli.

Police did lathi charged on agitators twice at Satellite bus stand on the Mysore road.

According to the TV reports that schools and colleges in the state are shutting down voluntarily, sending students back home.

Due to the violent protest in the city, Massive traffic jams are being reported from different parts of the city.

There have been sporadic incidents of violence in other areas of Cauvery basin.

Miscreants were pelting stones at a truck with Tamil Nadu registration number in Chamarajanagar.

As per the reports that Tamil residents of Pandavapura have been attacked by the miscreants.
