Virat Kohli Gifted A Car To His Coach Rajkumar Sharma On Teacher Day

The relation between student and teacher has been special in India. There is massive respect for the teacher in India and the Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli is the perfect pinnacle of it.

Well, we all know that Virat Kohli has started knocking the door of the greatest with his terrific performance in all the formats of the game. This makes him most respected crickets in the whole cricketing fraternity.

Meanwhile, despite getting busy in his Cricket, the 27 years old Indian batsman found the time to give the token of respect to his coach Rajkumar Sharma.

The relation between Kohli and his coach Rajkumar Sharma disclosed in the book ‘Driven’ written by veteran sports journalist “Vijay Lokapally” in which he mentioned how Virat showed his respect to his coach on 2014 teachers day.

According to the book, Rajkumar Sharma on the 2014 Teachers day listened to the door bell of his house, and when he went to open it, he found Vikas Kohli (Virat’s big brother). Vikas gave Rajkumar a phone as Kohli want to talk to his coach. Virat Kohli wishes his coach “Happy Teachers Day” and Vikas Kohli asked the Rajkumar Sharma to come out.”

The book further contains that ” Rajkumar Sharma went outside of his house and was surprised to saw the new Skoda Rapid parked at his home and Vikas Kohli handed over him the keys to the car.”

RajKumar Sharma wrote that ” it was not about the new car, but the emotional moment for me the way Virat wished me despite being so busy on his tour.”

Well, Virat knows how to respect his elders, and this may be the influence of his idol Sachin Tendulkar which respects his coach Ramakant Achrekar.
