The Pokemon Go developer, Niantic has said that they will permanently ban users who will be using the Pokemon Go game along with third-party cheat apps that enables the user to spoof the GPS location in order to capture the little monsters. This is against the rules of the game. It will end you into trouble with the registration of the game.
The Pokemon Go game is only available on iOS and Android platforms. Niantic is not aiming to hit the Windows Phone platform. But, there are many developers who have managed to get Pokemon Go running on Windows Phones by tugging the original app of the game.
Now, Niantic is detecting unauthorised installations of the Pokemon Go game. It is banning the users permanently from using Pokemon Go game in their smartphones.
According to a report of the Softpedia that without legally collaborating with Niantic, a team of skilled developers for Windows Phone are working to bring Pokemon Go game on Windows Phones.
The third-party app called PoGo UWP is a client for using Pokemon Go on Windows Phones. But, the app stopped the update released by Niantic.
What is PoGo?
PoGo is an Universal Windows Platform(UWP) client for Niantic’s Pokemon Go Android/iOS game. It gives you the ability to play the game in the same game-world as your friends that are playing with an iOS and Android device.
In a recent warning on GitHub, Niantic mentions that one should not install the unofficial game on Windows Phone because the game developing company is locking the unofficial app. Further the company bans the users from the platform.
In the post on GitHub, one can read that Please do not install any builds that are not officially released at the link above. We currently are not releasing new builds for a reason, which currently is: We don’t have the right tools to spoof your device like an Apple device. If you download and run any non-dev generated apps, your account is being flagged and there is a high chance you’ll get your Pokemon Go account banned. Please also do not ask for new builds.
