UFC 202 MATCHES

1. Nate Diaz vs. Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor has been the ultimate bright prospect in the wrestling world in recent times. He was supposed to fight the  Rafael Dos Anjos for the lightweight title, but Anjos was withdrawn and Nate Diaz replaced him.

WINNER: Conor McGregor def. Nate Diaz by (48-47, 48-47, 47-47).

2. Anthony Johnson vs. Glover Teixeira

This match began and soon end, with Anthony Johnson knocked Glover Teixeira out cold with a right uppercut in the span of  13 seconds into the fight.

3. Hyun Gyu Lim vs. Mike Perry

Mike Perry made a memorable debut at UFC 202 as he thrashed the best  Hyun Gyu Lim in just round one thanx to his brilliant punch that put Lim straight down the floor.

4. Donald Cerrone vs. Rick Story

This match was highly predictable as most of the pundits of the UFC have predicted Cerrone to came out victorious in this match. And, same happened as Cerrone who is the most powerful man in the history of UFC thrashed Ricky.

5. Tim Means vs. Sabah Homasi

Well, this went was one of the scariest matches of UFC 202. The crowd witnesses a bloodshed of Homasi. Meanwhile, Tim Means who was considered to be one of the most underrated fighters, but in this match, he unleashed himself and completely smacked Sabah Homasi with dozens of punches and knee stikes.

6. Raquel Pennington vs. Elizabeth Phillips

This fight was between the veteran UFC fighter Pennington and one of the strugglers of the UFC Phillips. This match went neck to neck and was closer than the then score card. We must say, no doubt this was the pick of the matches of UFC 202.

WINNER: Raquel Pennington, unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

6. Cody Garbrandt vs. Takeya Mizugaki

Garbrandt has started knocking the doors of becoming one of the most talented fighters in UFC. Recently, he did something amazing as he entered this match on the back of the first round knockout of formerly 20-0 Thomas Almeida.

On the other side, Takeya Mizugaki his contender was also one of the long timers in UFC. Garbrandt smashed him with a hook and then with a couple of punches and Mizugaki was down.

7. Artem Lobov vs. Chris Avila

It was another match, which was predictable. Artem Lobov who is the close mate of Conor McGregor is tough and has the enough experience of the fight. On the other side, his opponent Avila was inexperienced and thus, he failed to put any competition.

Winner :  Artem Lobov, unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27).

8. Neil Magny vs. Lorenz Larkin

The UFC introduces one of the high profile matches between Neil Magny and Lorenz Larkin.

9. Colby Covington vs. Max Griffin

The match was also predictable as Colby is a decent fighter with numbers of different reflexes. And, that made her favorite even before the match.

And, when she smashed Max Griffin in this match, then it didn’t come to surprise to many people.

10. Randa Markos vs. Cortney Casey

Randa Markos, which is a Canadian fighter and she also made it to the semifinals of the Ultimate Fighter tournament to crown the first UFC women’s strawweight champion. Meanwhile, her opponent Cortney has dropped her first two UFC fights.

11. Marvin Vettori vs. Alberto Uda

This event initially began with Alberto Uda against UFC newcomer Marvin Vettori. Vettori showed a lot of promise and kicked Alberto in her debutl match.
