Whatsapp Account On Many Devices: Soon Users Will Be Able To Use One Account On Different Devices: WhatsApp is coming up with its new feature which may soon let its users to use one account on multiple phones. WhatsApp is going to let the users to use the same account, perhaps with the chat history on iOS and Android. As per to a recent report revealed states that at present WhatsApp is being working on a multi-platform system in order to make sure that users can use the service on multiple devices deprived of any issues.

WhatsApp is also said to be working on a way for users in order to use this instant messaging app on their desktop browsers deprived of the need for a smartphone. At present, if you need to run WhatsApp on the desktop, you will require to have an active account on smartphone along with loging on by scanning a QR code on phones.
UPW app to enable multi-platform usage
According to WABetaInfo report, it revealed that WhatsApp is currently operational on a UWP version of WhatsApp in order to allow the usage of multi-platform. Presently running WhatsApp Web is going to work without any change. The same WhatsApp account can be used on iOS and Android devices as well.
The thing which needs to take note is that the UWP app can work independently while the Web version is still going to need an internet connection. This in other terms means that the users are going to be required to be linked to the app on a mobile device or else through the UWP app.
Not only this, but the report also stated that there is no data accessible reagrding a native app for macOS. It also specified that there is no ETA defined so it is going to be months before we really see the feature.

In the meantime, there is not much information accessible regarding how the system is actually going to work or function. As per to the report, it is expected that the messages are still going to be stored on the smartphone.

On the other hand, the report did approve that multiple things revealed in recent months point toward this assumption. Earlier, as there is lack of proof regarding the information so the report is referring to the data about the new system as a rumour. But now, it is no longer a rumour, it’s confirmed. Now, the users can use their WhatsApp account on other devices too.
