On the most recent edition of The Ellen DeGeneres Show, viewers were treated to a beautiful moment in which Alicia Keys and her “real sister,” Brandi Carlile, talked over their connection and Carlile hosted the show, and Alicia appeared as a guest. The two musicians have even collaborated on A Beautiful Noise, which has been nominated for a Grammy and their friendship though extends beyond the studio. Brandi is a well-known vocalist and music producer in the United States and also she has received 18 Grammy nods and has seven studio albums to her credit.
At the 61st Annual Grammy Awards, the singer received the most nominations of any woman and Brandi’s music spans several genres, including rock, country, and folk. The Eye, Every Time I Hear That Song, That Wasn’t Me, and The Joke are just a few of her well-known tracks. In the month of October 2020, she and Alicia launched their collaboration, A Beautiful Noise, which is now nominated for the Grammy Award for Song of the Year.
