The news of this achievement was shared by the athlete himself on his official Twitter handle where he informed the nation about his achievement in the games and his tweet gets viral all over the internet with a higher speed and is retweeted many times by several users. Devendra Jhajharia was born on 10th June 1981 who is an Indian Paralympic javelin thrower who competes in F46 events and he becomes the first Indian Paralympian who secures repeatedly two gold medals in the Paralympics. Also, he secures his first gold in the game named javelin throw which was held in the year 2004 at the Summer Paralympics which organised in Athens, and with this achievement, he becomes the second gold medalist in the Paralympics for India. In the year 2016, at the Summer Paralympics which was held in Rio de Janeiro and in this, he registered a second gold medal at the event, surpassing his earlier record.

Devendra granted the lance a span of 65.71m, surpassing his world record performance of 63.97m that supported him to secure the gold in the year 2016 at the Rio Paralympics. In the tweet which was tweeted by Devendra on Twitter in Hindi that On Wednesday in the Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium which is in Delhi, he equipped at the Tokyo Paralympics by making a current world record of 65.71, smashing my earlier record of 63.97 in a qualifying competition. This was likely because of my parents’ assistance, and the struggles of my mentor named Sunil Tanwar and health coach named Lakshya Batra.

At the event, he threw 62.15m in the year 2004 at the Athens Paralympics which also a world record in itself where he secured his first-ever gold. The Tokyo Paralympics are expected to start on 24th August and the event will end on 5th September. Firstly the event was scheduled to happen from 25th August till 6th September 2020, but due to the postponed of the Tokyo Olympics because of the pandemic, the date gets postponed.
