An Indian woman becomes the CEO of an organized passenger Indian carrier Alliance Air appointed by the Government. Harpreet Singh has been appointed the first woman CEO of the Indian Alliance Air, and the decision makes her the first woman, who is ahead of an Indian carrier. Harpreet Singh, who is an executive director of Air India (flight safety) currently, and appointed as the first Indian woman commercial pilot in 1988. Because of her personal health issue, she left her job but from that time, she was active in some areas including the safety of flights.
Harpreet Singh has received the post of Captain Nivedita Bhasin, who is one of the most AI’s senior commanders. Captain Nivedita Bhasin is currently flying the Boeing 787 Dreamliner, reported officially. Along with this, she is handling some other departments of the carrier. Bhasin is more popular as she is a part of the Indian Women Pilot Association, where some other commanders are the part of this like Captain Kshamta Bajpai, who can be seen as a role model.
The official order was shared by the AI Chairman and managing director as well as Mr. Rajiv Bansal saying that Singh will hold the position of Alliance Air CEO post till further notice. Also, it was announced that Captain Nivedita Bhasin will head some other department of Alliance Air according to her experience. The rest of the Air India deft, Alliance Air will not be sold with the Air India-Al Express-AISATS merge and will remain part of PSU. At that time, the Air India’s old Boeing 747s will be also sent to Alliance Air, which has a ferry to the turboprops, if the Maharaja will get a purchaser and controlled by them.
