Jeremy Goodale and Willard Miller are two minors in Mexico who are accused of the first-degree murder of their teacher. They have sought the attention of the media and the public on the account of the not only because they have killed their teacher but also because their request to move to the juvenile court has been rejected by the district court judge “Willard Miller.” As far as we know, the minor accused are charged with the murder of their Spanish teacher.
Nohema Graber was a Spanish teacher and was teaching at the Fairfield High School. She had been teaching in the Nohema Graber High School since the year 2012. When the accused children killed their teacher “Nohema Graber”, both accused were aged 16 years. It was Wednesday, 12th May when the convicted children requested their district judge to move their trials to the juvenile court. But the district judge denied the request during Miller’s appearance in the district court.

Some people are coming in the support of the children as they are claiming that a child who is supposed to have more days than six months to reach his 19th birthday, the person must be trialled in a juvenile court for any crime he has committed during his teenage. However, the case of Jeremy Goodale and Willard Miller sounds to be different to the district court judge Shawn Showers. The District Court Judge “Shawn Showers” stated during the appearance of Miller in court that the available time in the juvenile rehabilitation centre will not be enough to rehabilitate Jeremy Goodale and Willard Miller for their offence.
Hence he denied the request of the convicted children to move their trials to the juvenile court. The concentrated thing in this decision is that the children will be given the punishment of life imprisonment if their case is not shifted to a juvenile court. It means that Jeremy Goodale and Willard Miller will be treated and sentenced as adults by the court.
As a result, they will be given punishment as the norms are conducted for the adults. In this case, Jeremy Goodale and Willard Miller will be sentenced to life imprisonment if they are not trialled in the juvenile court. It might be possible that the kind of crime they have done has encouraged the judge not to move their trials to the juvenile court.
