A 17-years-old teenager has gone missing from last summer and even her body has never found by anyone was murdered by her own father to hide the claims that he sexually abused her. It was heard by the court. The girl named Bernadette Walker, who was 17-years-old and a photography student by passion from Peterborough. She last appeared on July 18 last year when Scott Walker, her father brought her from his parent’s house where Bernadette spent the whole night. Scott Walker is a 51-years-old man, who was the father of a missing girl.
According to the reports, the prosecution case was opened by Lisa Wilding QC and said that the teenager was never seen again after her father collected her from home. Apart from this, the court also heard how Bernadette’s parents told the police that she ran away from home and in order to dodge the detectives, she sent messages to friends and family from her phone so that she could mislead them.
Lisa Wilding also said that the father of the missing girl and her mother, Sarah Walker, 38, hide the proofs of Bernadette’s murder and also, diver, mislead, and warp the investigation of the police. All the responsibilities of parents love had gone if she still existed, said Wilding in hearing. The prosecution said that Sarah Walker did not file a report of her missing until 21st July to the police.
With all of this, the court also heard that Bernadette, who is known as Bea told her mother on July 16, 2020, gone missing two days ago that she had been sexually abused by her father over some years. But, Sarah told Bernadette that she can’t believe this, and later, she decided to lay out a single night at her grandparent’s house till things calm down.
Later, the prosecution told that when her father picked her from the grandparent’s house in the early morning and added that Bernedette unable to use the social media account because she doesn’t have money to use.
The court said that she has been assumed dead and it can happen that her body was thrown or disposed of outside the country within an hours after killing. Later, added that Scott Walker killed his daughter to hide the allegation of sexual abuse by him.
On the other side, Scott Walker claimed that Bernedette jumped outside the car when they were coming home and ran away from the spot and also, said that he tried to run away behind her before reaching home but he failed. The investigation has been starting to find out her body and also, Scott Walker and his wife have taken to the custody.
