Wimbledon 2019 Results: Novak Djokovic has beaten Federer in thrilling match!

Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer meet for the 48th time and fourth time at Wimbledon on Sunday in 2019 final. While Roger Federer will be eyeing his ninth Wimbledon title, the four-time champion Novak Djokovic will try to retain his crown.

Also, Federer and Djokovic will meet for the third time in the men’s final at the All England Club. For the fifth time, Novak Djokovic is the Wimbledon champion after winning a breathtaking five-set final over Roger Federer, 7-6 (7-6), 1-6, 7-6 (7-4), 4-6, 13-12 (7-3) in a match that featured the first fifth-set tiebreak in Wimbledon singles history. Djokovic won both of those previous matches, back in 2014 and 2015 so this time it will be great to see if the record continues or Federer will change the same.

Wimbledon 2019 Results-

Federer did get the better of Djokovic at Wimbledon on Centre Court once, beating the Serb in the semifinals in 2012. Federer, who is 37, is going for his 21st major title, while Djokovic, 32, is eyeing his 16th.

Djokovic leads their head-to-head series 25-22, including 9-6 at Grand Slam tournaments. Federer has lost all four of their most recent meetings at the Slams and it’s now seven years since he triumphed over the 32-year-old at the majors.

Wimbledon 2019 Winner-

Federer was sublime in beating Rafal Nadal in Friday’s semi-final, whereas Djokovic was not tested nearly so much against Roberto Bautista Agut. The Swiss will need to match those heights again on Sunday to end a four-match losing streak against Sunday’s opponent.

The Novak Djokovic vs Roger Federer Wimbledon 2019 final will be played on July 14, 2019 i.e. Sunday. The final will be played at the Centre Court of the All England Club. It is scheduled to start at 06:30 PM IST and will be telecast on the Star Sports Network. The live streaming of the Novak Djokovic vs Roger Federer Wimbledon 2019 final will be available on Hotstar.

Djokovic would be the overwhelming favourite against any other opponent, but Federer has a special relationship with Centre Court and its most famous competition.
