Xbox Live suffering a big outage currently for many hours

It’s been big news that Xbox Live services are suffering an outage currently. As per to the Xbox Live Status page, those who are trying to connect are going to find out that they have limited to no access. The site on the other hand also said that the central or main services like signing in, along with creating, managing, or else recovering accounts have been impacted from the outage.

  • Xbox Live is down for countless gamers.
  • There are hundreds of thousands of reports that gamers can’t sign in.
  • Xbox Support is working on a solution.
  • It’s unclear how long this outage will last.

The outage is not just happening to one device but also across Xbox One, Xbox on Windows 10, Xbox 360, as well as Xbox on other devices as well. So, it is pretty much sure that the it’s a big outage and not just the common one. Xbox Support on Twitter has also acknowledged the problem.

Xbox Support on 7th September 2019 tweeted, “Our teams are aware & currently investigating errors when attempting to sign in. We’ll update here & on our status page: https://t.co/PzAdjUFMJj when we have more info to share.”

Xbox Live DOWN: Server Status and Microsoft Sign In issues

The most recent update on the status page also talks about the issue and states Microsoft’s “engineers and developers are actively continuing to resolve the issue causing some members to have problems signing in to Xbox Live. Stay tuned, and thanks for your patience.”

It is obviously sure and without a doubt, that the outage is surely going to frustrate to those who have initial access to Gears 5, a core module of which is multiple multiplayer mode. Along with this the core campaign, which can be played complaisantly, there’s the modest multiplayer, Horde mode, and the new Escape mode. As you would expect, there are many other different games that depend on on the Xbox Live network to function appropriately, most particularly Fortnite.

Even though Gears 5 is accessible to a selected group of people at the present, it has turns out to be widely accessible on September 10. Phil Hornshaw also said in one of his statement that it “is very much a return of those best elements of Gears of War” but with “a focus on making the game feel somewhat more adaptive to your particular ways of playing.”

He further said in his statement, “Whether you want campaign or co-op, Competitive or Quickplay, there’s an option for you in Gears 5, and plenty of stuff to reward you for time spent and skill gained. Gears 5 might suffer from some of the same storytelling missteps as its predecessors, and it might not venture far out.”
