Xiaomi has today launched a new smartphone Redmi 4A in India, the smartphone is the successor to the Redmi 3 range that was launched in India last year.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4A is priced at Rs 5,999 and the device will be on sale via Amazon and the first sale will take place on 23rd March.
The Redmi 3s range has been very popular for the Chinese company and it has managed to sell over 3 million units in just about six months.
Succeeding this series is the Redmi 4A, which was launched in China back in November.
The Redmi 4A comes with curved edges. At 8.5mm, the smartphone is thin. As colour options include dark grey, gold and rose gold options.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4A sports a 5-inch HD display and is powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon quad-core chipset with Adreno 308GPU.
The smartphone comes with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be expanded by the memory card.
The 4A is with a 13-megapixel primary camera with the 5-element lens by a single LED flash and a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Instead, there is a 3,120mAh unit underneath. There’s also no fingerprint sensor. With Dual-SIM card slots.
The smartphone runs on Android MIUI 8. The operating system supports dual apps feature, allowing you to have two WhatsApp accounts on one device.
The market is open for Xiaomi to take advantage of some of the smartphones that do come close include the Moto Power and Samsung J1 4G.
